When parties specify that the Scottish Arbitration Centre is to appoint an arbitrator to deal with their dispute, the selection of the arbitrator is made by the Centre’s Abitral Appointments Committee. The Committee will act independently from the Centre’s Board, and has complete discretion to choose the most suitable arbitrator for the dispute from the leading Scottish and international arbitrators.
